Pumpkin Parade

Last year things must have been pretty hectic around here because I didn't even have time to go up to the attic and retrieve Halloween decorations.

That's right, the whole month went by and the pumpkins slept through it.

So this year, I decided to put things out fairly quickly so people can enjoy the decorations all month long.

Tonight, I took all the photos you see in this post.  These little fellows are outside on the front porch.

During the day temps were cool with intermittent  showers.

Tonight was still wet and kind of spooky so it was the perfect time to show you some of the pumpkins.

I think Halloween decorations make people smile and that's a good thing.

Almost everything shown for Halloween came from thrift stores or yard sales!

Another pumpkin sits on a table in the hallway and yet another on a stand in the living room!

We cannot ever pass up the opportunity to add a little fun to the world, now, can we?

A spiced pumpkin scented candle burns on a table in the hall, too. Mmmmmm, it smells soooo good.

Look what I found at Marshall's for 99 cents!

WHAT'S ONE THING YOU CAN DO TODAY TO MAKE SOMEONE SMILE?

Tell a joke? Ha ha ha. Your pumpkins are darling. It is 100 degrees here so I'm not in the Halloween mood yet.

1st of all...I wanted to tell you that "they" say pumpkin scent is a scent that makes men...I, um...well, you know.
I LOVE your lit pumpkins. I was just going to ask where you got them when I read..."Most of them I got from thrift stores or yard sales." Lucky woman.

Seeing your pumpkins reminds me of when I was a kid and we lined our porch with them. A neighbor had a pet crow that came to our porch and talked to them and that memory makes me smile seeing your smiling faces:-D

Your porch looks so cute! I love all the lighted pumpkins. I don't think my halloween items will make an appearance this year. I'll be gone for most of Oct so I'll just do Thanksgiving when I return home. Hugs, Linda

Smiles are actually contagious. If we smile at people, they are likely to smile as well. Plus, it spreads a good feeling to them.:) xo Nellie

Your seasonal looks great, Susan. I have a fun pumpkins and a mun out. The pumpkins are uncut but one is already developing a white coat and going soft!!! It won't make the season even.

I love the smell of pumpkin spice. Need to get out my simple Halloween decorations before the month is over. I always seems to be behind on everything these days. Your decorations are great! The pumpkins are fun. Best wishes, Tammy
