Good to the Last Drop

Today I'd like to share the last photos of some Christmas decor that I saw in a couple of homes  during the holidays.

This tree, done in , aqua, lime green and silver, was absolutely stunning!

Sometimes it's good to ditch the traditional and try something new, don't you think?

Look at the pretty bow the artist/decorator draped from the top of the tree!

There were all kinds of unique decorations, too.

On the mantle, a host of angels, many of them transparent, looked darling with tiny white lights behind them.

Looking at the mantel was like having a little glimpse of heaven!

In another house I visited, this  camel stood near a darling manger scene.

The camel is made from banana leaves! Isn't that amazing?

Okay, may angels give an extra blessing to whoever made it to the end of this post!

WHERE DO YOU STORE YOUR CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS?

Oh, my! There was truly an artist behind these decorations, Susan! Our decorations are in bins on the top shelf of my closet, so their storage is "temperature-controlled.":-)

Have a great Thursday!

Very nice. I think what makes us treasure the beauty of Christmas it that we know, while it will return yearly, it lasts only a short while when it is here. Bittersweet to know it is temporary and we relisth while we have it.

Don't you just love the feelings you get when looking at such beauty?

Gorgeous trees and decorations. I always think one of these days I'll do a 'gorgeous' tree, but then I would miss all my ornaments. I am blessed to have a big basement and so all my Christmas is stored in bins (marked with whats in them) and it really helps me in putting away which I STILL need to do.

hugs, Linda

I love the unusual! Your friend's colour scheme is so elegant looking--like out of the pages of Architectural Digest! It's good to shake it up sometimes and "march to a different tune"...at least that's what my mother always told me with my decisions:-D XOXO

This is truly lovely! Our daughter does her tree in shades of blue/purple/silver, and it is also a work of art! As for my own decorations, I am the most disorganized person in the world, and things just end up in random boxes, which I have to search for next year! I wasn't always this way, but it seems that I'm getting worse with age! YIKES!!!!

Hello from Spain: aquamarine tree is beautiful and very original. I keep my Christmas decorations in the garage of my house. Keep in touch

All decorations are stored in a box on top of the wardrobe in the spare room, the christmas tree comes apart and is kept in the bottom of the towel cupboard.

I love the see foam green tree - we all have different names for that color - that is my favorite color these days. I love someone decorating like that - but you do have to store them. We have a basement.

Hi Susan

I love seeing how others decorate and celebrate Christmas! the angels are beautiful as is the tree and manger scene - Love them all.

Our decorations go in plastic tubs then in the attic. We learned our lesson using cardboard boxes for storage when our attic leaked!

Enjoy your night!

Greetings my friend~ thank you for being such a faithful blogger! So many of my friends read my blog but NEVER post, so thank you Susan. I can't wait to see more of Violet's dollhouse.
I'm still taking down my Christmas, made good progress after bible study this morning. I store my decorations in the garage, where I can keep them safe and get to them my myself. I use large Rubbermaid tubs and label everything.
Off to do my book review.

Beautiful trees, Susan!! Well, the artificial tree, the skirt, the garland, etc. goes downstairs. But all of my photo ornaments and the girls stockings from when they were born, those all go in the top of our bedroom closet for safe keeping!!
