On the wainscoting, beneath the wooden Coca Cola knick knack rack in the kitchen, hang seven hearts.
It's utterly amazing how certain items around the house just seem to multiply like bunnies.
Hearts do that around here.
They lurk in corners of dresser drawers, on shelves and in boxes.
So rather than keep them stuffed in a drawer or hanging near a curtain hook, this year they adorn a space beneath the rack.
I think they look cute, don't you?
I wonder how many more will show up before Valentine's Day.
DO YOU REMEMBER THE SONG THAT STARTED "HEART OF MY HEART?"

What perfect timeing for the beautiful hearts.
Let's see....Heart of my heart, I love that melody, heart of my heart, brings back sweet memory....or something like that! I love your hearts, Susan, especially the little white crocheted one with the red rose on top! Such lovely and cheery ways to dress up your home! Thank you for sharing!
I love hearts and also have several--"Hands to work, Hearts to God." When Kelly passed away, one of her dear blog followers sent Ari the most precious red velvet heart for him to have. I remember watching him holding it; that memory still brings tears to my heart, XOXO
hi, Susan! The hearts are so beautiful! I like that they all are different, created in different techniques. I guess they will appear in bigger quantity soon :)
Have a nice day!
Hi Susan.... your hearts are lovely... I love the gold worked one.
In our house it's Owl and Eagle ornaments that take on a life of their own....I tell everybody "enough with the ornaments... give us chocolate"
We got lollies for Christmas.
I do remember the song..it was a favourite of mine.Memory tells me Guy Mitchell sang it.....could be wrong of course..
Have a good day

Lovely hearts...you always have so much for each season. I am glad you have a big house! Nice you can decorate so much and the hearts and angels set the season for Valentines for sure!
I do remember that song Susan. I don't know if I'd be able to repeat it, but I do know it. Having all those hearts in your house does not surprise me one bit. I would be more surprised if you didn't have any hearts in your house. I bet you'll get a lot more before Valentine's Day.
They are sooo pretty - I love the purple one!
Sorry to say that I haven't heard of that song.
Enjoy your day!

"Heart of my heart, I love that melody!
Heart of my heart, ......." I guess that's as far as my memory goes.:-)
Lovely display for those hearts, Susan!
Hope your Wednesday is going well for you!
Hello from Spain: I like your decoration. Hearts are always very romantic. I like romantic songs. Keep in touch
One word-adorable!
I remember a song, "Peg o' My Heart", but not a Heart of My Heart....
No matter...your hearts are all so lovely!
Love love love all your hearts! One can never have enough hearts around.
So sweet, just like you.
Love,
Linda
Yep -- I like 'em. I have a thing for hearts. And right now am creating as many as I can. Have a happy day. Tammy
Love all of your hearts!! It seems like a lot of things around here multiply like Bunnies!! LOL!!
Hugs,
Debbie
The hearts are so pretty and refreshing. Your love for your home is so inspiring.
So pretty. It's true that certain things do tend to multiply in ones home. I love the pink velvet heart. Your display is beautiful!
