Signs of Valentine's Day Abound

Today we are joining Home and Garden Thursday on Kathy's delightful blog, A Delightsome Life.

Stop by and get ready to take a wonderful ride through as many enchanting blog posts as your time permits!

It's getting closer and closer to Valentine's Day.

In the pantry on a shelf, I found one more pink rose painted on a goblet and added it, with a candle in the middle, to the front hall table tableau.

It makes such a pretty pink sight, especially at night.

There are other signs of the day of love around, too, and all are meant to bring smiles to make people feel happy.

Several years ago, one of my crafty sisters made the wreath at the top of the post.  Isn't it the pizazz?

That same sister painted the rose on the glass  candle holder. She's a wonderful artist.

There are a few gifts for my daughter and granddaughter on the dining room table.

Happiness is a pretty special gift, don't you think?

WHAT'S THE BEST THING THAT HAS HAPPENED TO YOU SO FAR TODAY?

Love that you do so much decorating for the holidays. I think it's so fun. I was wrapping little treats for my girls too. How old is your granddaughter?
Thanks for your message on my blog Susan...glad my negativeness didn't come through! I'm working on it!
Hugs,
Linda

Beautiful decorations you have there. The best thing that happened to me today was when my man told me that he loves me :) very simple.
Enjoy your day!

I see you love pink as much as I do, Susan. I think February just yearns for pink, don't you? All your decorations are wonderful, especially those done by your sister.

It was so wonderful to wake to a blue sky and sunbeams. I'm getting ready to meet my sister Pat for coffee in a few minutes. Haven't seen her in a couple of weeks and want to get a nice visit in before the "blizzard".

I found a paper doiley heart that my mother made for me several years ago. It is very simple and just says Happy Valentine's Day. I got the idea I would like to frame it and had a pretty white picture frame that was not being used. It was a good match. Looks great on my bathroom table with a little valentine bear sitting next to it.

Enjoy your day.

I love the pink and the roses! Very much in tune with the season.

I am thankful for each morning I awake. Then, I found emails from two daughters this morning! Also, being in the company of my husband is one of those "best things."

Sending you wishes for MANY "best things" in your day, Susan!

I agree, happiness is a very special gift! The best thing that's happened to me today? Waking up knowing that my family loves me.

How is that sweet grandbaby? :) You must be having a great time with her!
