Have a Tranquil Sunday

Wishing you tranquility on this delightful Sunday in May.

I took the photos on a excursion to the Farmers' Museum in Cooperstown, New York, with you, dear blog peeps, in mind.

We'll have lots more for you on this picturesque little town, and all it has to offer, in future posts.

For today, however, ditch the busyness, the noise and the never ending "to do" list.

Today, I wish you tranquility, as soft and comfortable as new green grass and gentle breezes.

Now,  inhale.......breathe deeply ......ahhhhh. Tranquility.

HOW ELSE WILL YOU FIND TRANQUILITY TODAY?

Not so sure about tranquility, but our church is celebrating its 41st anniversary, and we'll be having our regular Sunday services PLUS lunch on the grounds! Should be a wonderful time of reflection, as our pastor of those 41 years is stepping down as soon as a new one can be found. Bittersweet, but exciting at the same time! Anyway, I hope to get my Sunday afternoon nap, once we get home and get the leftovers put away---if there ARE any leftovers!! Have a glorious, blessed Sunday, Susan! Oh---I think the Baseball Hall of Fame is in Cooperstown, isn't it?

Usually I awaken with an urgency to do-do-do. Today I did not, and then I read your post which added to my tranquility. Or maybe it's depression because I didn't get one number on the Powerball Lottery ha ha.

Hello from Spain: Sunday is always a quiet day and family. I really like this day. We go to church at 12 am and take a walk. Nice pics. Keep in touch

Tranquility! I think today with lots of rain storms I'm just taking a break and resting!

Our weather is full of severe warnings for this evening and night...I feel like I am "waiting" but enjoying what sun and gentle breeze I have. Happy Sunday to you.

Lovely pastoral pictures. Holding and singing to my 7 week old grandaughter brought me lots of tranquility and joy.

Cloudy skies and soft rain showers will provide perfect conditions for a restorative nap, now.

Have a peaceful Sunday.

Hi Susan -

Lovely pics! It's rainy here, but that's okay. When God waters my flowers, I don't have to pay for the privilege. :)

Blessings,
Susan

Such peaceful pictures, Susan. We hosted friends for lunch today, so our routine was quite intense for a period of time. We have found tranquility in the visiting, though.
