Happy Saturday

This post will be short and sweet since most people are really busy on a Saturday in summer.

I hope you will have a very happy Saturday from start to finish!

Do something nice for yourself.

It doesn't have to be something big.

Sometimes, the smallest gestures bring the greatest happiness.

Hugs to all!

DO YOU HAVE ANY PLANS TO DO SOMETHING FUN TODAY?

Pretty photo! We are planning to eat dinner watching a movie together in the family room and then continue a game of rummy we began last night. Not often we have a weekend with Abbey (our youngest daughter) home and Jared (our oldest grandson) here together and willing to just hang out with us. It is hot, humid and on & off showers today, but I think it is pretty special!

My niece and I were going to picnic today but decided to stay home and relax and recover from the two very busy days we just had. Tomorrow we have a small birthday celebration then we are off again to the tourist sites! Hope you had a great saturday.

Well, Blogger just wiped out my comment! It wasn't anything earth-shattering, anyway, just that I did a load of laundry, took a short nap, then baked a pecan pie for our pastor. I hope your Saturday has been relaxing and enjoyable, Susan!

We spent our Saturday cleaning the house and enjoyed a great dinner at our favorite restaurant in the evening. It was a great day with hubby and my little pooch..

Great post. Wise words.

Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving me your kind words.

A lovely photo of your geranium. Such a pretty pink.

We had a very nice Saturday...it's raining now and I'm thinking it would be a good thing to snuggle into bed with a nice read. A perfect ending to a lovely day.

Wishing you glimpses of heaven in unexpected places.

Does baking chocolate cupcakes count! I'm getting a little sick of packing and these did the trick on a beautiful Saturday! Hope your day was as nice, XOXO

Pretty geranium blossom. Thanks for your happy wishes! I did have a great day. I stayed home, which is unusual, and got lots of projects done on the screened porch with oldies music playing. I hung clothes on the line and made stuffed cabbage for dinner , then got cleaned up and went on a date to browse decorating books at Barnes and Noble, and ended the day splurging with a banana split!
Enjoy your Sunday too! Linda

My Saturday "fun" was returning home from being away for a short while for Conference United Methodist Executive Committee meetings. Also, our oldest daughter came through town and spent the night.
