Tree Stump Creativity

Some people see a tree stump and think nothing of it.

Others, like my friend, Christine, see a floral opportunity.

She planted several blooming flowers on a gnarly tree stump in her back yard.

The results are quite spectacular.

They grow from the trunk in all angles as well as at its base.

It's a beautiful addition to her yard!

Talk about a creative way to make a floral sculpture, this is a prize-winner!

HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT ABOUT PLANTING FLOWERS IN A TREE TRUNK?

Now that's an interesting idea! We have a large stump like this out back near our creek. I'm thinking I should do something like this there. So glad you shared this. Happy Monday! :)

I have a big stump in my backyard..now this is a very unique idea. I have poor soil though so flowers wouldn't grow near it. Lucky lady to have such a lovely tree stump.

She is most creative and clever! That is a unique and beautiful little garden spot! Since we are renters at our apartment complex, we do no landscaping, but this would be lovely anywhere there is a stump!

I think it is a great idea. A lot of people in my area do amazing things with tree and tree stumps such as your friend did hing you could purchase in the store.

Jeepers...where did the rest of my comment go? It should read...such as your friend did with hers. It is better than anything you could purchase in the store.
