Wildflowers on a Mountain Top

The variety of wildflowers found at the top of Mt. Greylock in Western Massachusetts is testimony to Mother Nature's generosity.

Little buds of buttercups, clover and Queen Ann's Lace carpet some of the slopes along with daisies and unidentified magenta blooms.

Even on a day when fog enveloped the mountain top in thick fog, I was able to snap photographic remembrances of our visit.

Hope you enjoy seeing these gifts from God.

What magnificent sights our sweet  Mother Nature provides for human eyes and hearts.

It tickles me pink when I discover one of mother nature's treasures when I am on a hike. I love wild flowers.

Susan I love the buttercups there - very pretty. So how far is this mountain from your home? Did you climb it or just take photos from the base. Love, sandie

Wildflowers are so endearing; the colors are amazing and your pictures really captured their special spirit.

My favorite widlflower(that's a hard one) is probably queen anne's lace or maybe violets. The prettiest display of wildflowers I have seen was on the top of Mt. Washington, NH. It was an alpine wildflower meadow; spectacular!

The natural world is such an amazing gift for us to enjoy.

I loved picking wildflowers when I was a kid growing up in Western Massachusetts. My favorites were Lilies of the Valley and Violets.

Oh My goodness...I have been taking tons of photo's of wild flowers/weeds. For some odd reason I am drawn to them as I see you are. Also I want to clarify that I am not wheel chair bound. I have a walking impairment that limits my walking and I use a cane. The wheels I referred to was my car....which I some time see as a big amigo. :)
