One might hear the word "pumpkin" and immediately think of a big, round orange one.
But there are so many different kinds of pumpkins that it's absolutely amazing.
While at a Whitney's Farm Stand in Cheshire, Massachusetts, the other day, I took photos for today's post.
Seeing the white pumpkins made me think of how popular they are in decorating.
The flat, squat ones are unique.
Did you know there are even pink pumpkins? Uh huh. Whitney's has them for sale.
As for me, give me good old-fashioned orange ones, thank you.
Also shown are just some of the gorgeous mums for sale at the farm stand.
WHAT KIND OF PUMPKINS DO YOU LIKE?

Hello from Spain: I like traditional, the orange. I am very classical. Keep in touch
Wonderful selection of pumpkins, Susan! Many farmers in our area have lost their pumpkin crop due to our excessive rainfall this season. I prefer the large, orange ones for October/Halloween decorating, though I'm told they are not the best for making pies, etc.
I love the orange one's since that says Fall to me!!
I usually like the orange pumpkins, as they say harvest to me. However, as October arrives and then Halloween, I like to see the "ghostly" white ones appear. whooooooo!
I like all :) So happy to see them out and on porches.
Hi Susan, they are all lovely. I had no idea there were pink pumpkins!
I am kind of liking the white pumpkins!
I like the kind you find in pumpkin bread, muffins and pie!
I did not know there were pink pumpkins. I have always bought orange, but I really want a white one! Beautiful photos! Love, sandie
I like the white ones somewhat. I like the Cinderella's. But orange is over all favorite!
