Froggie the Swinger

When it comes to happy frogs, the one on the swing in our backyard takes the cake.

I found him several years ago and bought him on the spot.

He elicits smiles from everyone who sees him.

Hubs hung froggie's swing from the rose arbor.

He's about the happiest froggie in the whole world.

Know who loves him most of all?  My 11 month-old granddaughter does!

As soon as we venture out to the backyard, she heads for froggie, the swinging dude frog.

I think whenever you find a decoration that makes you smile, you should buy it.

Hope you all have a "happy frog" kind of day.

WHAT IS ONE FUNNY DECORATION YOU HAVE IN YOUR HOUSE?

Hello from Spain: I like the frog in your yard. It is very original and fun. In my country the frogs bring good luck. In my house I have in my garden some figures of Snow White and the Dwarfs. Keep in touch

Froggie is ribbiting cute!
Mostly Mexicans or Guatemalans at the Hispanic fair, but our city is represented by hundreds of ethnicities, many ethnic communities.

I have tons of stuffed animals saved from when the kids were little. Now my grandkids sleep with them whenever they come down to visit. They love all those "funny" creatures.

LOVE your froggie! I don't have anything really "cute" or funny hanging around here (except my hubby---HA!), but I do have some meaningful plaques/pictures that speak of Faith, Hope, and Love, and they are great reminders of our reason for living! Have a terrific Tuesday, Susan! :-)

Your froggie is one happy frog! I love whimsical things like that. They add a special touch to a garden or yard.

I have a lepracaun playing a "squeeze box". He sat in my mother-in-law's garden for many yeasrs. Now he sits next to a guitar playing frog that I have and I think they make beautiful music together! ha ha
The only problem now is the puppy, who thinks they are his playmates and wants to chew them up! Have to distract her when we go by the singing duo.

Enjoy your froggie and your precious little grandaughter. I do.

It's funny that you ask this, Susan, because I just bought the sweetest little owl. Come by tomorrow if you'd like and see him. I agree with you, if we see something that puts a big smile on our face (and we have the money) then we should buy it, right? Your frog is so cheerful. Love your post as always, dear.

Love,
~Sheri

What a cute frog! The ceiling fan in the sunroom has blades that are multi-colored. I think that is a funny thing to see. Our rain gauge is held by a bunny!

Love the swinging frog!! Trying to think of a funny thing out there...I guess it would be the little squirrels who are broken a bit on their bottoms. Mostly unseen unless someone picks them up :)
