Jesus Loves the Little Children

Thinking ahead to the upcoming holidays, there was nothing needed to buy in order to decorate.

The last couple of years, not even all the decorations jam-packed in the attic came down at Christmas time.

There were just too many of them to use all at once.

So while doing a fun walk-through at an out-of-town Goodwill, there was no thought whatever of buying anything for Christmas.

Then I saw it-----two darling little angels perched over a tiny and adorable Baby Jesus.

Made in Japan, the little music box played "Oh Come All Ye Faithful."

My baby granddaughter absolutely loves music boxes and this one would definitely thrill her.

Those were my thoughts and they were correct.

I happily paid the $2.79 that it cost.

Of course, since it's breakable, an adult has to be right near her when she's holding it, but the look on her little face when she hears it play makes it all worthwhile.

She's even learned that the baby is "Dee-zus!"

This purchase is one of the little things that makes life extra special.

WHAT IS SOMETHING THAT HAPPENED RECENTLY IN YOUR OWN LIFE THAT WAS EXTRA SPECIAL?

Hi Susan,
How sweet is that! The music box is precious but not half as precious as your granddaughter and how she says Jesus. How cute! Thanks for sharing that cuteness with us.
Have a great week,
Gina

Oh Susan, how perfect! You grandbaby is adorable. it's the best thing that can happen to us! I am enchanted with my little guy. The music box is so sweet and affordable. Love that she knows baby Jesus. There was the sweetest little girl in front of us at church this morning and I couldn't get my eyes off her. Everything is more special with a grandbaby. Have a great week.
Love,
Linda

Adorable, both your granddaughter and a music box with little Jesus :) I can feel that the spirit of Christmas started spreading across the blogland, if not around the world :)
Happy day, Susan!

My granddaughter likes to wind up my music box and ballet dance all around the livingroom. Your granddaughter is beautiful.

It would have been very difficult for me to leave something like that behind, too. Your granddaughter is adorable!

When we last saw our grandchildren - over a week ago - for the first time in six weeks - I was able to spend time with them, and that is always special!

That is the sweetest little music box! So glad you got it! I too do not need any more Christmas decorations! I did find a little tent for Tiger's Christmas, he will love it!

Hello from Spain: I like the baby Jesus with the two angels. Great purchase. Friday was a happy time in my day because my oldest daughter received excellent grades in school. Keep in touch

You found the ideal gift and now your granddaughter is taking steps on her journey to love Dee-zus. Yesterday I got a Operation Christmas Child shoebox at church and began filling it for a needy child; I enjoy doing that each year.

There is NOTHING more precious that your granddaughter playing with the Angels and Jesus and learning about them.

This morning Andy's school put on a Veteran's Day on for the veterans and my husband was one of them.
