Boston at Holiday Time

In this razzle dazzle Christmas season, we had a wedding to attend near Boston!

It was a gala affair and some of it will be shared in future posts.

Today, however, I want to show you some scenes from around Boston.

The photos above and below were taken inside the Sheraton Boston.

We traveled to Boston a couple of days before the wedding to take in some of the sights and sounds of the big city.

Below shows the outside of Prudential Center. Now that's one big Christmas ball!

The trees inside were gorgeous, too!

One of the highlights of those two days was a trolley tour that pointed out lots of historical places.

Some day I'd like to take the "Chocolate Tour."  Wouldn't that be the pizazz?

Anyway, hope you enjoy the photos!

The photo below was taken inside a Victorian mansion where the wedding reception was held. (More details and additional photos of decorations inside  the mansion coming in future posts!)

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TO BOSTON?

I have NOT been to Boston like I said. It was Baltimore! I messed up!!

I have to say my son went to Boston for school for a year, but I never made it there.

This wedding was spectacular! I can't wait to see more photos and hear more wonderful stories.

Love, sandie

My son has lived in Boston for the last several years, so I have been to Boston quite a few times to visit him. It is a lovely and historical city, with so many interesting things to see and do.

Can't wait to see the posts about the wedding.

I'm from Michigan, but my husband and I got to visit Boston several years ago. I loved it - but it would be an awfully expensive place to live! I would love to go back again and see it at a slower pace.

What lovely scenes! Yes, I've been to Boston. It was a very quick and brief visit - just time for dinner. We traveled on the train from near Plymouth and met friends of our daughters who were studying in Boston at the time. After dinner, it was back on the train to Plymouth! I'm longing to return.

Hi - so nice to meet you. I have not been to Boston - sadly to say. I've really enjoyed your pictures in this post and appreciate the opportunity to see some of your city.

I visited my sister-n-law when she lived in Boston and it is a fabulous city. I would love to see it at Christmas. The tree in the Victorian mansion is beautiful...I eagerly look forward to the wedding pictures. :)
