Ceramic Tree Keeps Me Company

One room that is heavily frequented throughout the holiday season is the kitchen.

So this year, I figured I'd add a lighted ceramic tree to the kitchen counter.

It was a good decision.

I flick it on in the morning, keep it twinkling all day long, and flick it off before bed at night.

Love it!

This tree was offered at  yard sale for $10, a couple of years ago.

Even though it's an old-fashioned decoration, that was still a good price.

It plays music, too! ("Away in a Manger")

DO YOU DECORATE YOUR KITCHEN FOR CHRISTMAS?

Usually just with kitchen towels and pot holders...I do not have any other Christmas things in the kitchen..maybe a pine scented candle! I like your ceramic tree!

My kitchen is so small, it's a galley kitchen, very narrow it's hard to get two people in it at the same time so no never any decorations in it at all.

I love that little tree. Especially the little birdie lights. I used to decorate all rooms, even the bathrooms, but don't do much now. Happy holidays. Tammy

Susan, when I had the TV on yesterday while making my wreath(see post) they showed a tree exactly like this!!
I guess they're 'in' again.
So you're right on trend Susan:)

Hello from Spain: at this time the kitchen is the main part of the house. I like your decorations for your kitchen. Nice proposals. Keep in touch

Your little ceramic tree brings back many memories of my mother-in-law, as she had the exact same tree. It was one of her favorite decorations. She always put it on the dining room table for all to enjoy throughout the holiday and it could be seen from the kitchen also. I remember it softly glowing in the darkened room as the December twilight descended. Thanks for bringing back a special memory.

I know you will enjoy your little tree every day, now that you have it on your kitchen table.
