Fruit and Water

Well, dear readers, 2013 is almost over.

Like most years, it was filled with challenges and changes but, all in all, it was a pretty good year.

Soon it will be time to sit down with pen and notebook and write out personal goals for the new year.
This is something that must be done by hand, rather than type onto a keyboard.

There's just something powerful about putting goals down in a notebook that can be flipped open at a moment's notice and be reviewed.

For sure, three things that will be going on to the list will be drinking more water, eliminating breads and rolls for awhile and eating more fruit.

Hope your year has been good and that your new year of life will be blessed in so many ways that you will be amazed.

WHAT ARE YOUR FINAL THOUGHTS ABOUT 2013?

I set goals also and not resolutions! I had so many amazing moments in 2013 but I'm looking forward to 2014 and all the fun ahead!

Happy New Year!

Good morning dear friend, yes, I have to do the same thing! I like to write things out too. Thanks for visiting me so faithfully this year. I know I had blank spots when I was gone or just too busy! I love your blog and enjoy our blogger friendship so very much.
Happy New Year!

2013 was a very special year for us as my husband and I became first time grandparents...such an amazing experience. Looking forward to 2014 and all the new experiences that are in store.

Definitely more fruit and more veggies!

Hello from Spain: I agree with you. The next year I have to exercise more and eat healthy and wholesome food. I should also improve my English. Happy New Year. Keep in touch.

It was a very surprising year for me but a very good one. I enjoyed a lovely trip down the Danube river with a friend, downsized my job to four days a week, and participated in my beautiful daughter's wedding recently. Yes God was really good this past year.

My final thoughts for 2013 are of good memories I am holding on to....and the hopes I have gained strength and wisdom from the tough times. I also am cutting back on bread and sweets. I love your cranberry colored pitcher....and the church from the previous post....:)

I am thankful for every morning that greets me!

I am in my 4th week of omitting wheat products, with the exception of a few "planned indulgences." I was not really eating that much bread, but I am missing that Cream of Wheat!

Susan,
Cutting out breads and rolls is a good idea. I had to do this due to allergy reasons.

Happy New Year! I wish you peace and joy in the coming year, and thank you for your prayer, Susan.

Love,
~Sheri

Hello my dear friend: You know how much I love it when you visit me. I look forward to it each week. I do the same thing you to, except I write them in a form of a prayer to God. Thank you for all your kindness to me. You are dearly loved. Hugs, Martha
