It's been a whirlwind month around here, that's for sure.
There's was the out-of-town wedding, brunches, lunches, concerts, church services, and on and on with not too much end in sight.
My fingers itch to answer all the dear ones who have left sweet comments on my blog but by the time I get to the computer at night, I'm whacked-out tired.
I feel so honored (guilty?) that you keep leaving messages, even though I haven't answered them.
But I'm going to get caught up, even if it's after Christmas.
Just wanted you to know that I deeply appreciate you and love hearing from you.
Even if you don't hear from me immediately, you will eventually.
The photos in today's post are scenes from the kitchen.
Hope your weekend is delightful.
WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU ARE FEELING TIRED FROM HOLIDAY GATHERINGS?

Susan,
Thanks so much for your visit and kind words on my tablescape. Since my DR is pink and green, I went with the pink tablecloth and green dishes.
I sort of did everything low key this year unstead of big parties that i usually host so it was a more relaxed Christmas season once things slowed down for me.I had a lot on my plate since Sept.
Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas!!
Hugs,
Debbie
Sweet Susan,
There's never any need to reply to my comments. They're for your pleasure and there's no pressure to say thanks. I think girlfriends understand we only have so many hours in a day.
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas.
Kind regards,
Dayle
Susan,
I feel the hectic rush, also. I am finally on winter break and will also spend some time catching up. That gingerbread sleigh was amazing!
Don't you worry my friend, I think the type of folks we all are, we do alot of things around the holiday and find we do get tuckered out. :) We are all in the same little Christmas boat....LOL When I find I have a few too many things going on, I find being by myself for a few hours recharges me. No TV, no people, just me and quiet. Hang in there! Kit
Thanks for your visits and comments to my blog as well. I can count many visitors each day but few take the time to comment. While I never wrote for comments, I got hooked early on and love hearing from anyone and everyone.
Soon we will go into a calmer time of deep winter...ah, if there is a calmer time in today's world, surely winter is it. Merry Christmas, Susan, as the holiday is almost upon us!
Hi Susan,
Don't worry not answering straight away, I think we all have our busy days at this time of the year. I feel bad not having enough time to visit on a regular basis. I love your kitchen items, the snowman is so cute ^_^
Enjoy your weekend.
Eva

Can't let another day go by without visiting my sweet Susan. Yes, I can not keep up with this fast passed life and feel awful about not doing all I would like to do.
Sending very Merry Christmas wishes to you!
I just turn off the light and head for bed! Things proceed much better the next day if I've had a good night's sleep. Take care!
