Peace

(A "peaceful" church among the houseplants in one home decorated for the holidays.)

After the full  holiday schedules, endless "to do" lists, extra eating and drinking and entertaining, there is a definite need to find some peace.

As wonderful as the Christmas season is, I doubt  there is a person in the world who is not a bit relieved when it comes to an end.

The memories are lovely.

The photos are great to see and remember.

The new year ahead, though daunting, is exciting to contemplate.

But for now, for today, for this moment, my heart yearns for peace.

How about you?

WHAT IS ONE WAY YOU FIND PEACE IN YOUR HEART?

Yes, am ready for quiet. With some very bad news from a friend, I think the year is going to hold some darkness but going to try hope and light for the new year first! Almost at the new beginning...the fresh start...Have a good Sunday, Susan.

What brings me peace is my quiet time with the Lord each morning. He reminds me that whatever happens in the day, I am loved, I am His, and we will get through the rough times together. Happy, blessed New Year to all!

Siting in my garden listening to the birds is always peaceful but not at the moment the builders are back next door.

Listening to my classical radio station when I drove home from my son's today...I am finally at home and it is very peaceful here.

The only thing that brings me peace - true peace - is praying and casting my cares on HIM.

I enjoy reading a book when the house is quiet and I can avoid distractions. Peace to you, Susan.
