During a quick thrift store run last weekend, an adorable plaque caught my attention.
It was still in its original packaging, completely unused.
Asking price? A whopping $2.99!
Hope you can read it:
Then I decided to keep it. ha! Does that happen to you?
It's a really nice and sweet reminder of the reason for the season!

DO YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE MANGER SCENE AT YOUR HOUSE?

You found a treasure, and we have 2 nativity scenes at our house.
I have three nativity scenes at my house and love looking at them each Christmas..
It is pretty. I have one manger scene. I keep it out all year. I have done this for many years. I am asked by visitors when not the Christmas season why it is out. Most were my kids friends. It became a good witnessing tool. We don't put Jesus in a box after Christmas so I don't put in a box. The story is for everyday.
Happens all the time, I see something beautiful... think about giving it as a gift, but then fall in love with it and decide to keep it. Love the plaque... it's pretty, and the writing too, exactly what this season needs, the true meaning and not the commercialized meaning of this beautiful season.
You do find the best things at your thrift stores. Wonderful messages, too.
Enjoy celebrating the reason....Happy Holidays!

Like that plaque! The rules are those we should actually remember all year!
We have a couple of manger scenes - one that sits in a higher position, and another that is lower that the grandchildren are able to arrange.
It is a delightful placque.
Good to place on your door or to be seen just as guests enter.
Adorable Susan! Yes, we have 4 mangers up and I have more that I haven't put up this year. It is the reason for the season.
Love ya,
Linda
Hello from Spain: Nice post. Very cute. Great purchase. I live in a family home. On each floor of the house ornament the house with a manger. I have all sizes. Keep in touch.
That does happen to me!
And I think I would keep that too.
We have one manger scene - how many do you have?

This is so precious and yes that happens to me all the time! I really do love that sign. I have two manger scenes that I put out each year!
Well, that was a great buy. And perfect for you. No wonder you couldn't give it away. Have a wonderful holiday. Tammy
