An "Angel" of a Frame

A special treat on one of these dark winter afternoons was taking a run into a Goodwill thrift store.

Within minutes, a couple of delightful bargains came my way.

One of them is a rather garish 5X7 inch gold frame with two angels on it.

It would be a perfect setting for another little angel, my precious grandbaby!

For $1.79, the price was definitely right.

Here's how the photo looks in the frame:

Today we are joining Thrifty Things Friday on Diann's blog, The Thrifty Groove, with co-host, Linda, from A La Carte.

DO YOU HAVE A LOT OF PHOTOS AROUND YOUR HOUSE?

I just went to Aaron Brothers this past weekend and bought a frame and then next one for a penny. I bought four frames for wedding pictures of my daughter's recent wedding..8/10s there...talk about a good price..you can't beat 99 cents for a huge frame.

Dropping by for Thrifty Things Friday!

What a sweet frame! I don't have as many photos setting around as some people, I guess.....

I'm your newest follower and so glad I found your site. Isn't Goodwill THE BEST?! But it takes diligence and frequent pop-in visits to catch those bargains, they disappear so fast. Have a great weekend! -- Jan

I do have quite a few photos that I really enjoy seeing. I try to change them out for more current photos from time to time; especially the ones of my grandaughter who changes so fast. She is 10 months old now!

Your little grandaughter's picture looks perfect in the "angel" frame.

Definitely a bright spot in any day.

Okay that frame is perfect - an angel frame holding an Angel!!!

Yes I do have a lot of pictures around the house - especially in my family room - now with a pretty frame like that.
