One Place Where Spring Has Sprung

Anyone unfamiliar with the Christmas Tree Shops should know the chain stores filled with delightful merchandise sell a lot more than Christmas decor.

As a matter of fact, it's like Christmas shopping there all year long since they have household decorating items for every holiday and then some.

Tea kettle, anyone?

Or how about your own popcorn machine?

Many of the items will make you smile, like this one:

Luckily, I had my camera in my purse last weekend when we made a stop at a Christmas Tree Shops in Albany, N.Y.

As you'll see fromt he photos, shoppers can get  ready for St. Patty's Day, Easter and spring, all rolled into one fun shopping excursion.

WHERE IS ONE OF YOUR FAVORITE PLACES IN WHICH TO SHOP?

Well I'm always up for holiday decorations! What a fun place to visit and shop. It would probably be dangerous for me...lol. We have Crafter's Warehouse out here the west that I really enjoy. They have a lot of seasonal things and great fabric too. We do have an independent shoppe in my little town of Troutdale that is just so fun and the owner Jodie does a great job with the holidays. I should do a blog post on her shoppe. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Susan! This reminded me of where I was this past Saturday....Hobby Lobby! They had all sorts of colorful, spring-like decorative items. I went with my best friend, Sherry, and we had a great time. We had lunch first, then browsed through Hobby Lobby buying just a couple of very inexpensive items, then to Kirklands, where I bought some jazzy reading glasses...and then on home...Tired! LOL But just walking the aisles and seeing all the cute décor helped chase away our cabin fever and "snow" doldrums!

Actually I didn't realize that they offer more, than their name implies...

I've never been to a CTS, but hoping one of these days to visit the one a couple of hours away. For holiday decor I love Hobby Lobby!

Hello from Spain: nice shop. I really like the decorative figures. In my town I like to shop at a department store called 'El Corte Ingles'. It is a shop selling all kinds of products from food to clothing. Keep in touch

Hobby Lobby has it all around here. Christmas Tree Shops? Not sure of a location, though I know one has to be not too far away.

I do know of the Christmas Tree Shops and have been there on occasion. I'm not a big shopper, but if you are looking for seasonal decorations, you will probably find them there.

I also like to go to Pier 1 and Pottery Barn for creative ideas for decorating for the holidays. They re a little pricey, but Christmas Tree Shops are very affordable.

Love these kinds of stores - they make me smile! I don't really decorate for St Pat's - never had and I'm not sure why.

Stay safe and warm my friend!

Did I tell you we had that shop when we first moved here - they closed about five plus years ago. I wonder why. Everyone LOVED that shop. Isn't it fun? So what all did you buy? How far is it from you? sandie

I love all the cheerful holiday décor. Here in GA, we like Hobby Lobby and JoAnn's for these type items. I am so eager for Spring.
