Rrrrribbit Rrrrrrrribbit

Right now, there are no living frogs anywhere  in sight.

Snow is falling  fast and furiously outside, with much more still to come.

It kind of looks like a million feather pillows have been opened up somewhere in the sky!

It's a chilly, snowy New England winter day!

But frogs  make one think of spring so here goes today's post!

Frogs are creatures  one either likes or disdains.

I like them.

Ever since I heard Kermit singing, "It's Not Easy Being Green,"  frogs have jumped their way into my heart.

At the Christmas Tree Shops in Albany, N.Y., recently, a variety of frogs were displayed.

All three frog photos shown in this post were taken inside the Christmas Tree Shops.

I suppose  they are among the many harbingers of spring.

Rrrrribbit! Rrrrrribbit!

I am not a fan of frogs...Don't see too many in my neck of the woods either. I know you enjoy the Christmas tree shops..looks like you made some "friends".

I have a couple of ceramic frogs someone gifted me. They're cute, but not a collection.

Frogs are interesting and I do like some in decor. I have one cute ceramic frog I've had for a long time and really like it!

No, not a big frog fan. Dogs and little boys catch my eyes but no real collection.

I do think frogs doing "human" things are quite amusing. I have 2 garden frogs that my sister gave me a long time ago; one is playing a banjo and the other a guitar. They make me smile when I come across them in my garden in the summer. In the winter they hang out under the roof deck with all my other garden animals; rabbits, birds, ducks, etc. I like to think that when no one is around they serenade all the other garden animals. ha ha

Nothing wrong with frogs. This summer while we were in Louisiana, there was a whole slew of those tiny little tree frogs that come out at night. When they would stick themselves to the glass door of the hotel, they would be translucent in the light. Kinda cool. :) Except Zack who is 15 and over 6 feet tall doesn't think they are cool at all. Ha! Best wishes, Tammy

Your frogs are delightful, Susan, and I bet the garden one makes you smile every time you go there.

Yes, I love frogs. When my dad passed away, I was given his frog that he had on his work desk for many many years. I still have it to this day, and it's so special to me.
