"Monday, Monday. So good to me.
Monday morning, it was all I hoped it would be."

Remember that song by Mama Cass of the Mamas and the Papas?

What is it about Mondays that can make us feel either invigorated or well, just plain ole' sad?

When people we know, both friends and family, are suffering, it's hard to be super cheerful and right now I know a couple people who are in a lot of pain.

On the other hand, I know there's someone who is in charge, in control and that is Almighty God.

I just have to do the footwork and He'll take care of the rest!

The calendar says it's spring, dear readers.

We are alive!

We can dream of flowers and ice cream cones on warm evenings as we wait for  spring to jump off the calendar and start in our lives.

Yes, it's "Monday, Monday."  Hope it is good for you!

WHAT IS SOMETHING GOOD YOU LOOK FORWARD TO TODAY?

Good Morning, Susan. Great attitude you have today. I shoot for it but sometimes miss. This morning we are up in dark for DH lab tests for second week. It is hour drive first and both are tired after all night prep...but here we go! We will see a chilly sun but no snow or ice!

We got up this a.m. to 16 degrees and a light dusting of snow on the ground and cars. All I can say is it beats 90 degrees with 90 percent humidity in August - really! It's just weather. I love my weekly routine, starting with a morning of volunteering at a local nursing today. God is good. Blessings on your day!

On the "down" side, aren't Mon. mornings prime time for heart attacks too? -sigh-

So I try not to think too much, about it being Monday. Even though, at this time in my life, Mon. doesn't mean the beginning of the work week, which can make a lot of people sad.

Guess for me, it seems to be best, to just take each day, of itself. And try to live in it. :-)

Oh, pretty new Header I think. It just struck me as being "different" and so, I have to say so. Me, the "Queen Of Headers and Blog Looks Noticing." :-)))))

Yes, I DO remember that song and loved it! I always feel like Mondays are the opportunity for a fresh start, especially when they come accompanied by bright, sunny skies. (like we're having here today!)

I'm looking forward to my aqua class at the local pool at nine a.m. and I'm looking forward to a lovely bright sunny day. I love having Monday's off from work. It's a free day for me to do whatever I want. I love Mondays.

The kids going back to school! That is a good one.

So your bunny baby is pretty.

Mondays mean the start of work and I think Friday's mean the end of the week. I should do my post on Mondays!

I hate Mondays as a teacher but Tuesday is the second day of the week and it's better. Luckily is only three weeks to Easter holidays and it's the great news.

Susan,
Yes, I remember the song "Monday Monday" by the Mamas and the Papas. What a nice song that is - haven't heard it in awhile.

I hope spring has come to your area and you are enjoying the days.

love,
