Vintage Find---Chippy Candle and Flower Holder

Those of you who have been following my "labor of love" for  quite some time may remember the unique candleholder I found while thrifting.

It was an ugly color but I spray-painted it pink with a layer of white on top, then gently sanded it!

It has four little glass vases attached to it!

Talk about a unique design, this little number has it!

For the recent birthday festivities here, I splurged and, with heart beating rapidly, plunked down some money for  white roses.

The candles used are a kind  of deep lavender color.

I also added a little sprig of green to the roses in  each vase.

The chippy holder,  filled with some of nature's most gorgeous flowers, is still being enjoyed.

Ohhhh, they are so pretty!

Today we are joining Home and Garden Thursday on Kathy's blog, A Delightsome Life.

WHAT DO WHITE ROSES MAKE YOU THINK OF?

Oh very very pretty Susan. I love the design and you were so right to paint it your favorite color and add the roses and candles so your table would look lovely. White roses remind me of purity!

What a great find, Susan! I love the roses! Yes, our snow is ALMOST all gone! Yeah! But boy, today was one of the coldest days ever! My poor little bluebirds were expecting it to be a lot warmer up here by this time of year. I hope they survive these bitter cold nights! Talk to you soon!

Great find and a wonderful restoration. The white roses are perfect for it.

Roses are just so special whatever the color. Their fragrance is fabulous, too. I just bought a 1/2 dozen very pink roses and arranged them with some pussy willows; very "spring" and I'm enjoying them so much. Glad you are enjoying yours still.

I do remember that - it is beautiful and I love the way you put flowers there. Very unique.

Now white means death doesn't it - or remembrance of the risen Lord?

Don't different colors of roses mean different things. Red is love. Yellow for friends........
