Happy Monday, dear blog peeps!
Hope your day goes splendidly.
Now, for today's post:
Sometimes, things from our childhood resurface in our adult lives and bring sweet memories.
There was an apple tree in my parents' backyard.
In spring, when hundreds of pink blossoms covered all the branches, it was a sight to behold.
And the fragrance was sweetly intoxicating.
I remember big fat bumble bees buzzing around the blossoms, too.
So when I saw the print of this country scene at a church yard sale this weekend, I just couldn't resist buying it.
Wouldn't it be dreamy to live in the little house with the puffs of smoke coming out of the chimney?
What a divinely peaceful place in the countryside that would be.
DO YOU PREFER COUNTRY OR CITY LIVING?

Definitely country living! We have two huge apple trees out front and I can't wait for them to bloosom. Have a wonderful week! Kit
Reminds me of the song "I'll Be With You In Apple Blossom Time" Oh I loved that apple tree..not only the apples but climbing in it too! I like suburb living..not in a big city and not in the country...just in between.
Hi Susan,
Thank you so much for writing an email to me, my friend!
I highly appreciate friendship.
I've already sent a reply to you.
Yes! I prefer country living, but I live in a big city at this time.
I pray that God will lead my way to a horse farm with lots acreage to roam with my animals, either in my next life, or in the near future in my life now.
HAPPY EASTER, SUSAN, FAMILY and BELOVED ONES!!
Have a blessed time with those you love, my friend!
God may bless you all.
Blessings,
Poet Starry.
Susan,
I made a typing mistake in my previous post.
I mean, "with lots of acreage..."
Cheers,
Starry.
I LOVE your lithograph, Susan! I'd have scooped it up in a heartbeat, too! I love and appreciate the city, and really enjoy my visits to Boston, but I think I'm more of a country (or at the very least, suburban) girl!
Thanks for visiting Baby cat's crazy antics! We do put up with a lot for our furry little friends, don't we? Thanks for the kind words on my 'soon to be office studio'! Have a great week - this weekend was positively heavenly!

I would dearly love to live in the country or up in the north woods. But - you know what they say - bloom where you're planted. Blessings on your day!
Susan,
What a lovely picture! my parents had an apple tree in our backyard as the development where my Dad built our house was an orchard originally!
I am I guess a suburb girl, not quite country and not city either. I grew up in a new Home Development and our townhouse is in a quite development but not far away from anything and everything. That is what I am used to!
Hope you are having a great day!!
hugs,
Deb
Susan,
Beautiful and tranquil and reminds me of my farming roots and the 2 crab apple trees next to my bedroom window.
Country-and we are really trying to figure out a way to move there!!
Jemma
We had an apple tree in our yard also! I used to love to sit under it and draw/sketch. :-)
Love your picture!
Oh I'd take a cottage in the country, myself. :-)
Beautiful print you picked up! It was 82 here this weekend...went to flea market and garage sales. Found Blue Willow! This morning it is 35 and snowing around us! Sad.
Hello from Spain: I prefer country living. I live in a village on house on the outskirts of the city. No noise or neighbors. I wake up the birdsong. Great buy from picture. Keep in touch.
I love countryside but I must live in the big city because I have a job here. But we also have a house in a small town so it means as we teachers we can spend 3 months there.
It is a beautiful painting and I just love the vignettes of sections of the painting. Sweet childhood memories :)
Real pretty memory and thought - it would be wonderful to be there in person - wouldn't it? I have to say though if I had to pick one - I would have to take the city, but I love the country too.
I spent holidays on my uncles farm when a kid and often visited my hubby family in the country but no I like my city to live in but i'm in the suburbs the best of both worlds.
Merle...........
These prints are wonderful! Dreamy... Have a wonderful week! Love, Vanessa
Green Acres is the place to be...Farm livin' is the life for me...Land spreadin' out so far and wide...Keep Manhattan, just give me that countryside.
:) Best wishes,Tammy :)
