It's Never Too Late To Learn

Young people today are whizzes at computers.

Sometimes, I envy their prowess.

Those of us who are of the older generation, have to keep learning new technology.

I figure it's either sink or swim and I don't want to sink!

Before, every time I wanted to change the header of my blog, I had to contact my very busy daughter.

Whenever she could squeeze into her schedule, I'd give her the photos to use and she'd do my blog's new header.

I constantly felt it was a major inconvenience and that I was bothering her.

Well, being a teacher, she decided to teach me how to do it myself.

I wrote down the directions, line by line.

Then she made me practice .

There were moments of utter frustration but then, elation.

Please check out my blog's latest header.  Done my "moi."

I feel proud and happy.

It's enough to make me want to do somersaults.

HOW ARE YOU WITH MODERN TECHNOLOGY?

What a lovely header too! I don't know how to do this. I know what I have to get along...as I get older, I am more resistant to changes!

"I wrote down the directions, line by line."

Oh it is so wonderful, to read that another blogger, does this! Write down directions! And then follow them, over and over, until one gets it right! Yessss!!!!

My very warmest Congratulations to you! I know how super-excited it feels, to conquer something techy like this! I do understand! I do!

For me, a private Test Blog is a saver. There I can see "how things will look." And no one knows, about my tinkering! :-)))) But that's just me.

Do a happy dance, my Dear. You deserve it.

I have been feeling prodded lately to learn more things on the computer. The thing that aggravates me is that as soon as I learn something, my husband puts a new version of something on the computer and I have to learn a new way. I think I'm just lazy.

A+ for you! Lovely header; it is a great feeling of accomplishment to do a new "techy" thing as it is a challenge. My son is the computer whiz and will help me but expects quick learning and no forgetting! haha He'll find out. Writing it down is a great help, but if you lose the notes you are back to square one. I find I don't have much patience for it and would rather spend my time on other pursuits. Not much motivation so not much in the way of success for me. You are way ahead of me!

I like you blog and your header is beautiful! My son works in the computer field and helps me when I need it. I too write everything down to get the job done. Good job to you!

I'm only OK with technology. I must admit having a blog has kept me more up to date then I otherwise might be. I think my girls are proud of me for all that I do on my blog. Congrats on doing your new header. I had to teach myself years ago but now I just don't change it much.
hugs, Linda

You commented on this post, that you would like to see me, in my new black round glasses frames.

Just scroll all the way to the bottom, of my blog. There you will find the rest of my Sidebar. And on it, is a picture of me, in my new glasses.

:-)

You have a nice and helpful daughter. New technology is not as difficult as you think. Take care and just try it will be better soon.

I am so techno challenged, but I give it a try, and when that doesn't work, I call for my honey to come help.
