Monday, (After Easter), Monday

Now that Easter is over, we can all relax a little, right?

The day was perfect weather-wise.

The sun shone down brightly and the air was cool and pleasant.

The Easter dinner, with contributions from all the guests, turned out to be very tasty and more than abundant.

The company was good and pleasant.

After everyone left, hubs helped me clean this mess:

For me, the one word that finalizes Easter ----its preparation, celebration and aftermath---- is GRATITUDE.

Yes, it's so good to be filled with gratitude for the ability to get together with loved ones, to feast, to be in good health, and to enjoy each precious moment of life.

And one more thing. I'm so grateful for you, dear reader.

Without you, this blog would not be nearly as meaningful and fun to write.

So thanks!

WHAT IS ONE THING YOU ARE ESPECIALLY GRATEFUL FOR TODAY?

Hello from Spain: your Easter dinner table is very elegant. I read that you were happy in your family meal. So do I. I really like these celebrations at home. I am grateful to my family and friends. Being healthy is essential to continue to our day. I like to enjoy the little things, like visiting your blog. Keep in touch

I'm grateful for a 95 year old little grandma who hosted 20-some people in her home yesterday for a potluck Easter dinner, and that we had a glorious Michigan day that enabled some of us to eat outside, that all my loved ones were there, and for a beautiful church service. And I'm thankful for you Susan, you inspire me. Blessings!

Your table was lovely and yes, the weather was superb! Before our meal we sat outside in the warm spring sunshine visiting and enjoying each others company. Lexi, the puppy, and Lyla the 1 year old grandaughter provided much laughter and joy.

This morning, the afterglow is surely cause for gratitude. Also, so grateful for a day of rest.......

Ah, Susan, what a lovely glimpse into your Easter celebration. I love your china... my mom has that pattern and I've always loved it.

I saw your note on my post... and I am very happy to learn you've got robins appearing in your area too! Yah...

I've got a pile of things to be grateful about today, but if I had to choose one, I'd select the the wonderful opportunity I had to sit with our library's Writer in Residence, a published author, today for a couple of hours, talking about writing... my book and hers. Hammering out ideas and meanings for certain scenes and memories.

I feel quite motivated to come to my computer and get some more writing done.

And you know what else I'm grateful for? I'm glad for you, Susan, and for your visits and for us being able to share a little of our lives through our blogs.

Wishing you a relaxing rest of your day.

I am late - sorry - but what a gorgeous spread you had there. The food looked good too - what was left over. You sure poured your heart and soul in it.

I am grateful for today.
