Mini-Excursions Add to Life's Zest

Flowers, eating out,  gorgeous cool and sunny weather, painting, remembering soldiers, time spent with people one loves, relaxing and sleeping in -----what can be better than all of that?

Those were all part of the long weekend that just passed.

It is my sincerest hope that you, too, had a good few days.

My daughter, baby granddaughter and I took a mini-trip to one of my favorite places, Trader Joe's in Albany, N.Y.

Stocked up on favorite items there such as all natural almond butter, plain ol' mini shredded wheat cereal and yummy frozen Indian food.

It was fun to have a mini-excursion with people I love.

WHAT WAS THE BEST PART OF YOUR WEEKEND?  TELL US!

Sounds like a nice, relaxing weekend, and what pretty flower photos! The best part of my weekend was that my better half was home, rather than having to go to work. Sitting with him on the front porch and watching the cars go by, getting my little garden pond up and running for the season. All pleasant things.

Going to the pool in gorgeous weather, relaxing and reading in the sunshine, going to a play with dear friends...it was a great weekend. Your pictures are stunning.

Mini excursions are fun, I agree! So glad you enjoyed your weekend. I bet you enjoyed time with your sweet granddaughter too. :)

We had a nice relaxing long weekend here. My favorite part was going out to eat on Saturday night with my husband. Coming in second was the picnic at my son and daughter in law's on Sunday night.

Have a great week!

Other than quiet time on the deck before rain, the best part of the weekend was my visit to the whore house! Would you believe it????

Very enjoyable weekend; having a nephew and his family from Colorado visit was wonderful. Haven't seen them in 2 years! It was great to have everyone together to enjoy a warm and sunny day outside and to catch up on all the family "happenings".

Glad you had nice weekend also. Summer is officially underway now!
