Artistic Touches Around A Beautiful Yard

Isn't it fun to visit the homes and yards of others and see how they decorate?

I have a dear cousin who has a magical touch when it comes to adding whimsy to her home and yard.

Luckily, she said I could put  some photos  I took on this blog so you can see her wonderful ideas come to life!

The pretty heart wreath, shown at the top of this post, hangs on the back porch area.

My cousin loves ducks and bunnies and uses them in her yard decor. They are so adorable.

Of course, the setting of the home, which both she and her husband love, is spectacular.

It's right on a picturesque lake.

Look at the adorable bunny here:

Sammy the Squirrel sits on a table on the back porch, too!

I loved this yellow forsythia wreath on top of a stone with a bird  right smack dab in the middle!

And look how pretty the impatiens look in the windowbox!

There will be many more photos on my cuz's beautiful home so stay tuned.

WHAT IS THE LAST WHIMSICAL THING YOU ADDED TO YOUR YARD, HOME OR APARTMENT?

Your cousin has an artist's touch, with the heart wreath and bunnies and flowers. I think I have the cousin squirrel at our house, cousin to Sammi.

The last thing I did was I put a roof on my gateway to the back garden, I don't think I have shown anyone yet will do in the next post.

What a beautiful touch your cousin has! I see creativity runs in your family, Susan. ;-) I wonder if her bunnies will attract live ones?

I added a golf ball-sized snail plus a toad house to my gardens.

Just beautiful! What a lovely garden your cousin has. The last touch of whimsy I added to my garden was a pink, plastic flamingo. It was sent to me from my friend who lives in Florida. There are no flamigos around here! It looks a little silly in my garden. ;)
