Hibiscus flowers are gorgeous, elegant showgirls.
They dazzle onlookers with their beauty.
Did you know that tea made from these flowers is a brilliant deep red color?
And that it tastes delicious?
Also, did you know the tea has been attributed to helping lower blood pressure?
Truthfully, I love the tea even though the only 100 pure, organic variety I have been able to find is pricey----$5.59 for 16 bags in the box.
But there are little one word messages attached to every tea bag and when I see them, they make me smile.
Here are the messages from a recent big batch of hibiscus tea. It went into a container in the refrigerator for sipping throughout the day:
The blood pressure readings have definitely gone down and for that, alone, I'm extremely grateful as the thought of taking medication was very unappealing.
This is a yummy tea, too.
HAVE YOU HEARD OF HIBISCUS TEA?

Yes, I like it too and I also love Jasmine tea. As a matter of fact I'm a tea lover...I have Earl Gray for breakfast every day. I'd much rather have tea than coffee which makes me ill. Glad the blood pressure is down. I would hate to take medicine for that too!
It sound delish. I must try it. Thanks Susan
I will share this information with a friend. Thanks, Susan and have a great weekend.
I haven't tried hibiscus tea yet.
Sold! I love learning about new teas...thanks for the great description and photos. Vickie
I have heard about it from you - it's that good. I will look for it!
Hello from Spain: this tea is very tasty and healthy. Keep in touch
This looks amazing and tasty:))
I will definitely have to try this. Thanks so much for sharing. xo Laura
This flower is in a lot of herbal tea blends. I did not know about the bp though.
I LOVE Hibiscus tea too and have a cup EVERY DAY in the morning, sometimes at night. Love the flavor. I haven't found a pure brand but I drink Tazo passion tea which the first ingredient is hibiscus flowers. If you are in the US and watch Dr. Oz, he had a part of his show talking about hibiscus and lowering blood pressure! That's why I started drinking it and surprisingly, I don't take BP meds anymore and my BP is good. I think this tea has helped alot. Love your pictures of this yummy tea.
I love different teas sweet friend! Tks I will try it and good luck on the giveaway!

Susan,
I HAVE THAT SAME TEA CUP, AND I LOVE IT! I've heard of hibiscus tea before, but never knew the benefits from it. Thank you for sharing this info. with us.
love,

Consuming the tea after meal will help in breaking down starches and sugar. Consequently, it’ll aid you in weight loss. Drinking the tea can also increase satiety which is especially important if you’re on a diet. Moreover, hibiscus tea is a diuretic, so it elevates the rate of urination. The less fluid you’ll retain, the less bloated you’ll look.
