A Perfect Late Afternoon, Early Dinner in Summer

There's a place called Matt Reilly's in Western Massachusetts that is set near a truly gorgeous lake.

Just the view from one's outdoor dining table is worth the trip there.

Recently, hubs and I went there for a late afternoon but early dinner.

Because clams and lobster are two extra and short-lived delicious summer sea foods, I ordered a lobster roll but without mayo.

I asked if I could have the lobster roll with a little container of drawn butter instead.

Once the summer is gone, so are these delectable selections, so one has to get them while they are available!

The salad with blue cheese dressing on the side was crisp and yummy, too, and the lobster roll? Divine.

After 40 years of marriage, it's still nice to have a date with hubs!

DO YOU LIKE LOBSTER?

I have tried lobster once but I do love it. So tell me what is the difference between a lobster roll and a lobster?
