Autumn Decor

It's  definitely autumn.

I've finally, albeit reluctantly, reconciled to that fact as morning temps took a nosedive.

Of course, bowls of different kinds of candy corn are a must.

(Thank heavens it's one candy I thoroughly dislike. If they were made out of chocolate, that would be a different story.)

The pumpkin tablecloth was found at Big Lots for only $4.

Naturally, a new season means getting out decor to put around the house.

First came some faux  leaves for the front porch recycled chair, shown at the top of the post.   (If you missed the original post on the chair and are interested, you can read about it here.

Put some decorations on the hall table, including a cool new table runner, below, also found at Big Lots.

Of course it goes without saying that amber glass is very reminiscent of fall.

Even the kitchen table looks festive, don't you think?

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE FALL DECORATION IN YOUR HOUSE OR APARTMENT?

Well it feels like the hottest days of summer here so no fall things out at my house!

Your Autumn decor is beautiful, Susan. I have been adding Fall-ish items to my home as well since it feels like Fall here. The leaves are changing, the grass is dying, and the weather has turned cooler :)

Have a wonderful week!

I LOVE fall. Love your decorations too. I definitely love chocolate, but I do eat that candy corn - I could not leave that out. What I like best is the colors.

Hello from Spain: in my country does not begin until the fall on September 23. For now we have heat. I really like your tablecloth pumpkins. Very nice and original. Keep in touch

Your kitchen looks delightful; warm and inviting(great yellow chairs), but I absolutely love candy corn, so have to hide the bag and only eat a few pieces here and there.
Do love the fall palette, don't you?

Usually don't do any fall decorating until after or on the first official day of fall, which is the 23rd of September this year. I like to languish in the the last few days of "official" summer. The sun is still so warm and everything's abloom. Husband and I are headed to the ocean for a long weekend and it's supposed to be sunny and 75, so we will enjoy summer for another week!

I just bought a white pumpkin for Fall décor, and still have to put it up. That candy corn looks yummy, and one of my favorites too.

by the way, just wanted to tell you that Jess is the one moving closer to home. It will be nice to be able to see her more.
