The Fascinating World of Dollhouses

Dollhouses bring us into a magical world where anything is possible.

The ones shown in today's post are all displayed and for sale at the Camelot Antiques and Furniture Gallery in Bennington, Vermont!

It was so much fun to look at each of them and study the hundreds of fabulous, unique details.

They were all so different from each other.

Personally, I love pink houses with white trim.

It's always fascinating to see what kind of decor a dollhouse has and the type of furniture, and dolls, are inside!

Dollhouses are among my many loves (obsessions?)  in life.

I have more than one and always enjoy any time spent on them.

Big and little, old-fashioned or modern, dollhouses are just plain fun!

I loved the little white wicker chairs and mini American flags, flying in the breeze, as well as the flower boxes shown below.

WHICH DOLLHOUSE IN TODAY'S POST DO YOU LIKE THE BEST?

Oh, look at these dollhouses! I loved the old lady knitting, so sweet. I sure wish I kept the girls' dollhouse they had when they were little. I could deck it out to this day.

I hope the new year is being good to you, Susan.

love,
~Sheri

One could get lost viewing these darling doll houses. I like that wicker furniture, makes me feel like I am sipping tea on the veranda.

Oh it would be hard to pick a favorite one. I love them all. I could spend hours looking at each one of them and looking inside to see even more treasures. I would love to have a miniature doll house myself someday. I think it would be fun to decorate! I would probably chose a Victorian style. Thanks so much for sharing the pictures...

I like the last one best. Do you visit Claudia at Mockingbird Hill Cottage? She also has a dollhouse that she enjoys decorating. In fact, I'd like to move right on in. Best wishes, Tammy

I find them all fascinating....if "push came to shove" I'd probably pick the one with gold trim and dark green(?) shutters.

I've really been neglecting my houses. Need to get back into it!

Wow those doll houses are just amazing - and what a group of them at one place. All different and so unique. I like the grandma sitting there - that is me. Some people go to a lot of work and money for them you know what I mean?

And you changed your header!!!

I have to say it is perfect - I love the hearts - and so perfect for Valentines. I think you did a great job there.
