Maple Yumminess

One of my absolute favorite candles is Maple Butter by Village. http://www.villagecandle.com/

Oh wowsers. It fills the house with sweet yumminess.

I first smelled one similar to it in a store in Vermont. Walked in and just about swooned.

There's a cranberry candle burning in the bathroom and that's nice, too but it cannot beat the maple butter.

On these dark winter days, I like to keep the inside of our home as warm and cozy as possible.

It feels kind of like being a bird, snug in his or her nest!

There's a date nut bread baking in the oven, too.

The snowstorm appears to be winding down outside.

At this moment, life is really good.

IF YOU HAD ONE WISH THAT WAS SURE TO COME TRUE TODAY, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

Your house must smell wonderful...and on a snowy day too! Here, once again snow did not materialize. 15 degrees did though...but big warm up by next weekend...bounce, bounce. I think snow quiet and seasonal might be good too!

Susan, I can smell the maple butter candle from here. What a great scent of warm maple in your kitchen. I love pancakes with maple syrup on them.....Yummy.

Have a beautiful week, friend.

Of all the yummy scents you wrote about the bread baking in the oven would be the most pleasing to me ! Cozy and comforting is what I think of when I read this post.

You must have the best smelling house in town.

Hello from Spain: I'd be home with the fire going. In my town it rains a lot but I have to go outside. My daughters are in college and I have to work. Keep in touch

I wish to stay healthy and not get the flu! One of my sisters is very sick with the flu, even tho she did get the flu shot. I guess the shot is not that effective this year.

Isn't it great to think of ways to warm and lighten up the house in winter? Yesterday it snowed most of the day and I felt like I was inside of a snowglobe. So enjoyable to go about one's tasks and relaxation while the trees and bushes and mountains are being gently covered beneath a downy white cover of snow.

That maple candle looks divine!

I'd rather not say, but it, too, would be divine.
