My dear high school friend, Patti, came over before Valentine's Day and left a pile of lovely gifts.
She is really so sweet, kind and generous.
She knows I love the artist Mary Engelbreit so she gave me her sweet book "Winter."
There are ideas for making things on every page as well as Mary's darling illustrations. I love it!
There was a notepad with a magnetic back to hang from the refrigerator, too. These come in very handy, as well as a little pad for jotting down notes.

Patti knew I started using red glasses last Christmas and wouldn't you know it, she found four more beauties, from Italy!

Her three dimensional Valentine was so beautiful, too.
Honestly, I thank God for this special friend. Her kindness lifts up my heart.

Oh I had a lovely outing with a very dear friend of mine who I have known for over 35 years....Friendship is indeed a gift from the Lord!

On this Monday, February 16, the best part of my day was waking up healthy! We are truly blessed here! Now - the snow that had been predicted came in the form of ice, and that hasn't been the favorite part of my day.;-)
