Flowers for the Angel Boy

One of the best parts of last weekend was going to nurseries to buy flowers!

We didn't get the window box blooms yet because there's still a chance of chill.

But we got a lovely hanging plant that is said to attract butterflies. Here it is:

I spray painted a boy statue that I got from a friend's yard sale and was thrilled to find another butterfly-attracting plant to put in it.

Isn't he the pizazz now?

Come back this week. I'll show you more floral treasures!

WHAT KINDS OF FLOWERS DO YOU LIKE TO PLANT IN THE SPRING?

So pretty Susan, Love the little boy Angel with his blooms.
I love to plant whatever flowers I can fit in. The more the better. As it's Winter here right now,I have planted a lot of pansies.

Love this sweet angel!! I bought flowers too and now I am praying that we do not get frost as a cold front in coming with low's in the high 30's. Hopefully, the temps. will not go below freezing or I will scream.....

Hugs,
Deb

Pretty! My husband won't let me buy anymore plants since it is already over 100 degrees out there and only gonna get hotter. And you are still getting chills. Such contrasts! Enjoy your plants and flowers and birds and the bees and butterflies. :) Best wishes, Tammy

Hello from Spain: pretty flowers. I like your pots lot. The image of the angel is lovely. In spring I really like hydrangeas. The smell is very nice. We keep in touch

Love the pink flowers in the basket and the statue. I think pink flowers are my favorite.

I usually do 7 window boxes; I have pansies planted in 3 of them now as they don't mind a little cool weather, in fact they do better when it's cool. At the end of May I'll get the deck planters filled, usually with pink and red geraniums, altho the oak tree has grown so much it is shady there more than sunny. Also have some perennials coming up but I see the weeds are coming up with them! Wish the flowers grew like weeds do....

I'm loving the little angel and all the flowers you got. They are gorgeous.

Hopefully this coming weekend everything can go outside. We are expecting couple of chilly nights here too... starting with tonight.
