Yummy Treat

On a day trip recently,  lunch was at a roadside stand.

I had a grass-fed beef hamburger with lettuce, tomato, pickles and a little bit of red onion and bottled water to drink.

While not fantastic, it was tasty.

My sister had the same but also ordered onion rings.

She shared a few with me and they were a super tasty treat, although not particularly healthy.

Sometimes a day trip calls for a treat.

(There. Saying that helped assuage the guilt. ha ha)

There was also a pretty garden stand nearby and I'll share on that soon so come back!

ARE YOU A VEGETARIAN?  IF NOT, COULD YOU BE?

I like a homemade burger now and then as I can make it the way I want. I don't usually order it when I go out to lunch. I like to order something I do not make at home. I could NEVER be a vegetarian. I'm a definite meat eater!

Both look good to me! Last week while in grandkids city, I had some sweet potato fries that were special. When they came out of the frier, they were sprinkled with a combo of sugar and cinammon and were so hot the sugar melted on...not healthy either but good!

I tried at one stage but like a bit of meat and had no energy on a vegetarian diet.

Hey just getting out and having fun with your sister and a nice lunch - that is a big treat.

I could be a vegetarian - if someone did the cooking and making different toppings. lol

This burger looks delicious, Susan. I crave a good burger every now and then, and just had one this last weekend. Nel was a vegetarian many years ago, but not any more, and we are all meat eaters around here. :~)

love, ~Sheri
