Be Still

Whenever I find myself floundering, with anxiety creeping into my heart, all I have to do is repeat, "Be still and know that I am God."

Knowing that God is in control of my life, my family's lives, and the world, is very comforting.

He gives us so many pleasures, so much beauty in the world around us.

Flowers and birds, music and laughter, hugs and kisses, sunrises and sunsets, candle light and love----all are proof of His love for us.

Babies, so fresh from His hands, are living proof that all is alright with the world, despite the wretchedness.

Babies are pure love. They are little earth angels without wings.

May today you be still and know that God is in charge.

WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU START TO FEEL DISCOURAGED?

Lovely verse to keep in mind when the world seems to be spinning out of control . . . Also, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee. And yes, babies are such fresh promises.

Susan, I can't tell you how perfect the timing is with your post. I have been saying this phrase over and over in my head and pondering over it lately. Thank you for reminding me to BE STILL, Susan.

love, ~Sheri
