A Home Decorator's Magic Touch

One of my dearest, long-time friends  had a birthday this week.

We had a delightful visit and she loved a small giftie I brought just for her.

I call her Christina because it sounds exotic and it fits her to a "t".

She is a darling woman who, when it comes to home decorating, has a magic touch.

How  could it be otherwise for someone who paints the doors of her house a warm and welcoming red!

Graciously, Christina said I could go around her house and take photos to use on my blog!

See?  I'm always thinking of you, dear blog peeps.

So I am going to show you portions of her charming home in several different posts.

Her home is currently all decked out for Halloween and fall and it looks fabulous, as you can see from photos in today's post.

Every corner and cranny has something wonderful to look at!

Christina pays attention to details.

Guess what else?  Like so many of us, she loves thrift store shopping, too!

She finds top notch items at bargain prices.

Here is her back door:

If you love touring other peoples' houses, stay tuned for more of Christina's.

WILL YOU BE GLAD TO SEE OCTOBER COME TO AN END?

I love that beautiful red front door.
We don't have any Halloween decorations in our house, think it's not so big over here. But I certainly love how you all decorate your houses. I remember once visiting Washington, D.C. At Halloween many years ago and all the cool decorations.

Your friends door is awesome and the back. I like how she decroated all inside.

I moved to a n Apt and the gals have decorated and we get children off the street to enter and I will take pictures.

I do enjoy Christmas myself as it is christian and family.

Hugs to you.

Thanks for sharing.

How did your Halloween party go with your adults and you and hubby dressed up? Lots of fun I suppose.

Update us.

Your friends house is wonderful - I love it! I don't know of anyone who decorates like that. I will be sad that the colors of Halloween will be over - but I am glad this month itself for various reasons will be over. lol Hope you feel better.

Wow...over the top decorating for sure at Christine's house...She sure likes to collect things and display her items she's purchased. Good for her. I can't believe October is already over and this whole year is coming to a close...wow the days just fly by! Soon it will be 2016.

I do love a red door. Mine is a shade of red, more like a barn red. I love the shade of your friend's. Her home is October, and I love October.

This has been an awesome October! We've had a lovely fall, and I'm not really ready to see that fade away. The next six weeks will be packed full!

Not ready for it to end quite yet. I love the fall colors on nature and in décor.
