Hibiscus Tea Has Great Taste and Great Benefits

Whenever my blood pressure spikes, an almost sure-fire remedy is drinking a couple cups of deep red, hot hibiscus tea.

It's really a delicious tasting tea, to me anyway, and it's beautiful to look at.

I have no idea what causes it to help lower pressure readings but am just glad that it does.

The brand most commonly used in our house is Traditional Medicinals.

A plus to the tea is that each bag has a message attached to the end of its string.

So many of them are just what I need to read on any given day.

Here are some of the reminder messages, in alphabetical order:

be curious

be heard

be yourself

connect

dream

flower power

 pause

 peace

renew

savor and smile!

All are gentle reminders and great advice toward having a quality life!

The tea is  not cheap and the price even went up in the one specialty store where I buy it. It's close to $6 a box for just 16 bags.

However, compared to blood pressure medication and possible side effects, not to mention cost, I'll gladly pay for the tea.

Watching salt intake, keeping an eye on relaxing instead of stressing, and upping exercise all help in the lowering blood pressure department.  Plus, the delicious hibiscus tea!

HAVE YOU EVER TRIED PURE, ORGANIC HIBISCUS TEA?

Sure have...I still have about 96 bags on my shelf. I can take it with heaping amounts of sugar only.ha ha. Glad you are enjoying benefits from it. I sure didn't get one of those benefits myself...I guess every body is different.

You know I bought some on your recommendation last year - it tasted pretty good - think I will go make a cup right now.
