A King Is Born!

"For unto us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."

                                                                                                     (Isaiah 9:6)

A very Merry Christmas to all my sweet blog peeps, Followers, and everyone reading this.

I wish each of you a truly beautiful Christmas.
You are very special to me.

Each time you come to Writing Straight from the Heart to read a post, it makes my whole day happy and that's like having Christmas every day!

The season, so filled with hoopla and merriment, sparkles but, in the end, the birth of the Christ Child is the highlight and meaning of  it all.

Because of Him, there is hope for the world.

MERRY, BLESSED CHRISTMAS!

WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS FOR THE DAY?

Merry Christmas Today went to the ten forty five Mass and sang with my daughter in the choir..then directed the choir as our director had another church to go to. Then opened mounds of gifts...made bacon and eggs for delicious breakfast and just hung out with my family. We had our prime rib dinner yesterday. My daughter did all the cooking and my son cleaned up...wonderful!

We had a houseful of noisy children and adults. Liam discovered the chocolate chip cookies and over-indulged.

What a beautiful madonna and child. Our Christmas was a true joy since our adult sons were at our home all day.
