Desserts Galore

Hello Dear Blog Peeps:

Today we are going to take a break from the Christmas Dollhouse and show you some of the desserts my niece served at Thanksgiving.

It's always nice to have a look at sweet treats, right?  (hee hee)

Tomorrow we will show you the master bedroom of Holiday Dollhouse so stay tuned if you like miniatures!

Here goes today's post..............

Luscious turkey and pork roast were the stars of this year's Thanksgiving dinner at my niece's house.

As you can see, there were many vegetable dishes from which to choose!

When it comes to providing desserts, my large, extended family would be hard to beat.

No one who comes to any  family dinners, Thanksgiving or otherwise, would be satisfied with one dessert.

No siree.  There are more than a half dozen to choose from!

The pumpkin cheesecake, shown at the top, looked divine.

One niece brought her famous four layer lemon cake, shown below.

Then there was decadent pecan pie made by another niece's hubs.

Carrot cupcakes made the little people in the crowd smile.

Apple crumb pie, plus another fruit-filled delicacy and an apple cake sitting in a pool of caramel sauce could also be selected.

Calories available?  More than a hundred turkeys' worth.

Talk about a sweet (repose) ending to Thanksgiving dinner!

P.S. Tomorrow, I promise, NO MORE FOOD POSTS.

WHAT IS YOUR NUMBER ONE FAVORITE DESSERT?

These desserts look amazing, Susan. I haven't had pecan pie in awhile, I miss that. I wanted to tell you that your Header is so festive for the Christmas season. The peppermint swirl caught my eye and the gingerbread, soooo cute.

It's good to see that you are enjoying this Christmas season so much. :)

love, ~Sheri

New follower here. I was probably attracted by that beautiful swirled whipped cream! :D
I love your doll houses. I could easily get into that, but have sworn off any more hobbies or collections so I'll have to enjoy yours.
Merry Christmas!
