March of the Gingerbread People

Gingerbread people, as well as stars and little Christmas trees, have been popping out of the oven like crazy lately.

Thankfully, none bolted off the cookie sheets or "booked" out the back door!

Most Christmas seasons find me baking gingerbread houses but this year, so far anyway, only two have been decorated to the nines by little hands.

Instead,  gingerbread people have substituted for the houses.

They are cute and will be fun for kids to decorate.

Plus, they fill the whole house with yummy smells!

DO YOU LIKE THE TASTE OF  GINGERBREAD?

It has been a very long time since I tasted gingerbread. My mom used to make it topped with real whipped cream! Nice memory.

They look adorable and so much fun!
I just finished baking for my grandgirls for C'mas Day and I'm taking the ginger ones so they can decorate. I also did some Linzer cookies, brownies, Granola cookies, a family fav and later a Wreath fruit cake. I love baking!
Merry Christmas and many blessings my friend.

Love the taste of gingerbread! I haven't baked them in a long time. But any kind of cookie with molasses in it, is a fav. Your cookies look great! :) Kit

Oh, I love gingerbread! It tastes so yummy. Is this your kitchen, it's so charming? Love the white tea pot. :) I used to have white in my kitchen until I changed to red and white.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas, Susan. Thank you for your friendship throughout the year.

Used to bake gingerbread people every Christmas when the kids where little. Was thinking of making some for my granddaughter this year.

Looks like you will have quite a decorating party! Enjoy...

Merry Christmas, Susan. I do love the taste and fragrance of gingerbread. Brings back memories of childhood baking with my mom. Blessings to you and your family this Christmas.
