Farm Table Restaurant at Kringle Candle Company

One thing is certain-----food served at the Farm Table Restaurant at  the Kringle Candle Company complex in Bernardston, Massachusetts, is very delicious.

The dining room is spacious and charming.

There's even a gas heated fireplace to keep  visitors toasty warm in winter.

The restaurant, and nearby Kringle Christmas Barn, are "geothermally heated and cooled with renewable energy produced by a series of deep wells" below the property, a colored brochure stated.

Also, many re-purposed materials were used to construct the restaurant.

There is an on-site laundry so no deliveries have to be made.  Disposable utensils are fully compo-stable.

All buildings at Kringle Candle use  "highly efficient systems to reduce energy consumption," also according to the advertising brochure.

The afternoon we had lunch at The Farm Table, I ordered a medium rare hamburger (without the bun to save on carbs) and, of course, topped with Vermont cheddar cheese.

I opted for salad instead of fries and it came with a house mustard vinaigrette and a pickle. Skipped the pickle but all the rest was yummy.

My dining companions ordered roasted black and green olives for an appetizer.

One got a curried chicken sandwich that looked delicious. The other person ordered one of the luncheon salads with pears.

Eating at the Farm Table was a real treat.

Bright, red roosters welcomed guests outside and more, including a rooster lamp, could be found inside.

I loved how someone tied colorful scarves on the roosters outside to keep them warm!

In another post, we'll show you one of the Farm Table's chandeliers, made from liquor bottles!

DO YOU ENJOY GOING OUT TO LUNCH?

I enjoy eating out for any meal! Trying new places is fun too. The Farm Table restaurant looked very inviting. A fire in the fire place is always an added benefit when dining; either at home or out!

What a fun place. Sounds a lot like Polly's Pancakes in Franconia Notch, NH. I would have to eat those fries, and two pickles.

Look at those bright red roosters! What a charming restaurant, Susan. The red umbrellas are pretty also. Yes, me and my son go to lunch or dinner once a week and catch up on each other's lives. Italian is my favorite. :)
