The Gift of Flowers

Valentine's Day is just a couple days away.

Lucky will be the women and men who receive flowers.

They are truly gifts that touchthe heart and they are less fattening than chocolates!

The gorgeous flowers shown in this post are actually from Christmas.

A truly dear and precious friend, Anna, sent them.

There are no words to describe how thrilling it was to hear the doorbell ring, answer it, and find that the flowers were for me.

There are a couple of places this Valentine's day where bouquets will not drain your bank account.

One is Aldi's Supermarket and the other is WalMart. In ads, I saw their flowers were more affordable.

May today and your whole weekend be blessed!

DO YOU EVER SEND FLOWERS FOR VALENTINE'S DAY? DO YOU EVER GET  THEM?

I use to worry that buying flowers and knowing they would die; would be wasteful. I have now come to the realization that the flowers give me so much joy while they are with me...they are definitely worth it. It is always nice to receive a surprise bouquet.

I saw the red rose on my side bar, Susan, and had to come right over. Your bouquet of flowers is very pretty. I used to buy myself flowers for a treat now and then, but it's been awhile. Thanks for reminding me it's time. hehehehe.

Happy Valentine's Day, Susan.

Haven't received flowers in a long time. Used to get them for every concert I gave twice a year at school. Now I should buy them for myself. Just got some for my sister who spent a few days with me last month. Hope you get some for Valentine's day Susan.

Beautiful pictures of your Christmas flowers! Hope you get some for Valentine's Day too.

The prices for flowers at this time of year are so inflated, aren't they? I do love to receive a gift of flowers anytime. Don't send the much tho. When my granddaughter was born I did sent a bouquet to my daughter in law. We are expecting a grandson in April, so I will definitely send another bouquet to her then....
