Time for Refurbishing

(All the pretty plates need a good washing.)

Before getting into today's post, I'd like to ask those of you who pray to put in some extra prayers for Claudia, a wonderful woman and fellow blogger.

Claudia is battling cancer and needs an army of prayers said in her behalf.

Remember, it has been said that prayer can move mountains!

Her blog is Claudia's Page.

Thank you.

Let's fill her world with prayer!

And now, for today's post:

For more than a week now, I've been battling a sore throat and a really awful cough.

Consequently, I took my sick self out onto the side porch to  lay down on a wicker settee.

It was a very comforting thing to do because the room is filled with beautiful light.

It also gave me a very different view of all the cleaning and straightening that needs to be done out on the side porch.

Hutch contents need to be removed and washed:

Whew.  Looking at things from a horizontal position was  a real eye-opener.

Cushions could use a washing, too, and floor, a good sweeping:

Plant is dusty, too:

As soon as I feel 100 percent well again, it'll be out to the side porch I go.

DO YOU ENJOY HOUSECLEANING?

I do hope your feeling better. And prayers for your friend Claudia. I hate that for her. Hate cancer. Love your plates and your sun room. Get better!

So sorry you're not feeling well, Susan. Yes, always so much house cleaning to do. Does it ever end? hahaha. You will get to it when you're feeling better I'm sure. I've been doing a lot of house cleaning with Jess' wedding shower coming up.

I'm so sorry to hear about your blog friend, and saying a prayer for her right now.

love, ~Sheri

Will keep your friend in my prayers. Cancer is a horrible foe to have to face. your sunroom looks inviting. Remember not to overdo as you recover. Take care.

Said a prayer for your blog friend. I can relate. I pray for her to have peace of mind and for a return of good health.

So sorry you have a sore throat and are not feeling well. Glad to hear you took a break. That's the good thing aout going away for a few days. You an sit and relax and if you see dust, well then, it's somebody else's problem. haha

I don't mind housework, but what I really like is a clean house!

I hope you are feeling tons better. I am very sorry to hear about Claudia and hope/pray that she has many more good and healthful days ahead. Yes, I do like to clean - I am almost obsessive about keeping things neat, clean, and organized. In fact, I just purchased a robotic vacuum cleaner - it does a good job, although I am still forming my opinion of it!
