Wind Power

The periwinkle colored flowers looked so pretty in the china teapot.

Placed on a recycled and painted chair on the porch, (originally a  dark green chair, given to me by a friend), they provided a bright spot to visitors.

Yesterday, apparently a gust of wind came flying through.

Arriving home, the flowers and teapot were on the porch floor.

The pot, of course, was in a hundred pieces.

Bye bye, pretty teapot.

In retrospect, I should have put a heavy stone inside the pot first, before the flowers, to hold it down.

Oh well, one lives and learns, right?

The flowers are still out on the porch, this time in a non-breakable, decorative pail.

MAY YOU BE BLESSED ON THIS DAY IN JUNE.

Susan, you have the most charming front porch. And I absolutely love that chair you redid. Such pretty flowers; isn't the color periwinkle delightful? So sorry your tea pot got broken from the wind.

It's been kind of windy here too, but I'm lovin' it cause it gets hot here during the summer time.

love, ~Sheri

Oh no Susan! We had some wind today here too. The weather is either too hot or too wet...so strange this year. It hasn't been very good for gardening.
Love ya, Linda

Oh darn! That was a pretty little teapot. :/ I've gotten over things breaking. In the grand scheme, it's all good. :)
