Moose

On the way to the Vermont Country Store in Weston, we stopped a favorite place called The Apple Barn.

Outside is a hefty and colorfully painted moose.

Inside, among the many edible and non-edible offerings, local honey displays tempted but I didn't buy any.

Our honey supply is quite ample.

What did come home with me was some maple cotton candy, honey sticks, and fresh, juicy peaches for little visitors to our house.

The whole day was totally fun. I just love one-day escapes.

DO YOU THINK SUMMER DAY TRIPS ARE GREAT FUN? WHERE DO YOU LIKE TO GO?

I love to go on day trips and see new things - just love it and love your big blue moose! My problem is my spending.

Loved visiting there twice. I enjoyed the cider I had and would go there again. Thanks for the photos.

Wouldn't you just love that blue moose in your back yard?

A phrase I never thought I'd say:

That is a beautiful moose!

The moose is delightful. Reminds me of my Cows On Parade figurines.

What a delightful MOOSE! This looks like a fun day trip, Susan. I would have liked to take some of the honey home with me. Yes, I really do love day trips to different towns and different places. It's essential to get away from our own surroundings once in awhile, don't you think? Glad you got to do that.

love, ~Sheri
