Now that summer is in full boom, I think of all it has to offer and feel immense gratitude.
Here are some things I love about summer:
- Sun
- Farmers markets
- Fresh, juicy tomatoes
- Bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwiches
- Parades
- Day trips
- Longer trips
- Ice cream
- "Lobstah"
- Freedom from monotony
- Iced hibiscus tea
- Swimming
- Suntanning
- Vacationing house guests
- Flowers, herbs and fresh fruits and veggies
- The ocean
- Blue skies and white, fluffy clouds
- Kids laughing under the sprinkler
- Outdoor concerts
- Steak on the grill and sweet corn on the cob
- Freedom from intense scheduling
