Look for the Radiance

This morning, before even before making coffee, I went into the backyard and turned on the fountain.

The sound of trickling water is peaceful and life-affirming.

Birds twittered at the feeder, stocked with nut and berry mix, which they love.

A slight wind rustled in the trees and made the wind-chimes begin to sing, ever so lightly.

A red cardinal walked leisurely on the lawn under the feeder, looking for stray bits of yumminess.

All of these rather ordinary things entered into the realm of radiance after I was able to become  conscious of them.

Radiant and radiance. The very words conjure something wonderful in our souls.

We must look for all things radiant, otherwise they disappear before our very eyes.

WHAT DO YOU SEE RIGHT NOW YOU WOULD CONSIDER RADIANT?

A water fountain, birds, a slight wind, pink roses, a red cardinal.....all of these things are WONDERFUL to see early in the morning, Susan. I just felt a slight breeze today at the park while enjoying my coffee. Love your radiant post, and it's really one of my favorite words. : )

Have a restful Sunday, my dear friend.

I think that it is wonderful how you find so much radiance and joy first thing in the morning.

Today marks my 3rd year 'c' free. I am happy about that.

One of the things I appreciate is birdsong in the evening as we sit on the patio. When we slow down, radiance is obvious all around us.
