Never Hesitate!

Outside a supermarket the other day, there were some exquisite rose plants in gallon containers.

The peach colored ones were especially lovely but they had pale lavender and passionate red roses, too.

I didn't buy any. However, thinking how much hubs loves roses, I decided to go back a day later and buy the peach colored and red rose plants.

Too late. The peach colored ones were all gone.

"He (she) who hesitates is lost."

So I bought just the red rose.

He loved it, even though I gave it to him before Father's Day.

HAVE YOU EXPERIENCED HESITATING THAT TURNED TO LOSS?

Yes and just last week. I saw red white and "blue" petunias for the Fourth outside at Lowe's. Felt too bad to get them then. There were bunches so I went back for some for a friend's birthday. They were ALL gone! I couldn't believe it as in less than a week a load had sold!

YES! I hate it when I leave something, think about it, go back and it's gone. At least you got the red rose! It's so pretty. Hugs!

Yes and it is so frustrating - but I try to be a good steward of money - then I am sorry I didn't get it! sandie

Oh yes! I saw last year a pic on a blog that had an old bicycle that was used as a planter. I thought, if I find a bike while yard saling that is what I will do. I saw the perfect bike for only $15 but passed because I thought, where would it go? Darn! I should have bought it. :) Kit

Oh that red rose is gorgeous. I think I can even smell it as I look at those pictures. Have fun with your rose plant. I have a yellow one in my backyard and I love it.

I do that all the time, change my mind and go back, and it is gone. Your flowers are beauties!

Shopper's remorse is a common ailment when you should have bought something you diidn't. THe red rose still made his day even though the peach one was no longer available. BEAUTIFUL.
