Think of Them...

This road in New England is so peaceful and picturesque.

It is that way in all four seasons.

Today my thoughts and prayers, like millions of others, are for anyone in the state of Florida.

It must be terrifying to feel winds as powerful as those connected with Hurricane Irma.

The wild ocean waters, too, are petrifying in their intensity.

Today, Floridians are in my thoughts and prayers throughout the day and evening.

By some miracle, I hope this passes and then goes way out of reach.

HAVE YOU EVER EXPERIENCED BEING IN A HURRICANE?

Praying for Florida....

We get them from time to time here in NC. I was once marooned in a town that flooded. Tried to leave, but the highway was underwater. It's baffling how much a storm can do.

My husband was with me when Hurricane Andrew came through Louisiana. It was his first time to experience a hurricane and while I was at work, he had been listening to the news on what to do and buy to prepare for it. When I got home, he had bought everything imaginable. :) Praying that damage in Florida won't be as severe as what Houston and the Caribbean Islands are going through.

We went through Matthew last fall and it was not as bad as what my friends in Florida are enduring. My prayers are with them, XOXO

We don't have hurricanes we have cyclones very much the same I think.
I went for a holiday up in the islands in Queensland but we had to leave because a cyclone was about to hit.

We will be tomorrow - not like Florida or Texas. We are under a wind advisory now. The state a State of Emergency. Schools are canceled for Monday and Tuesday. So waiting to see what will happen here in GA.

Thinking of the people in Florida, and my Nel in Georgia, as a tropical storm is coming her way tomorrow where she lives. Say a prayer, would you?
